Biological Assets Valuation

The International Accounting Standard 41 (IAS 41) states that a biological asset is any living plant or animals owned by the business. Valuation of biological assets can be challenging for investors given the complexity and diversity of the ranges of biological assets available, as well as the fact that biological assets naturally change and depreciate naturally and more rapidly than many other types of goods.

ROMA understands that the fair values of such assets can be significant to the financial position of the company and may be integral to the business decision making process, therefore we strive to provide the best estimation of biological assets with other professionalism.

The biological assets that we value include, but not limited to:

- Agriculture
- Forestry
- Floriculture
- Fisheries
- Livestock
- Poultry
